Born and raised in Snohomish County she grew up near the Pilchuck River where she spent most of her summers swimming. She learned to dive in 2013 and fell in love with being underwater. Once she started diving she couldn’t stop learning until she became a PADI Assistant Instructor. She loves both the cold water of the Salish Sea as well as the warm blue water of the Caribbean and South East Asia. Night and wall dives are her favorites, but she enjoys any day spent underwater. When not with students you will typically find Bonnie with her camera taking critter pics; nudibranchs are her favorite subject because they move slowly.
